Vintage 1950s figural fish box crafted in cast metal with a silver-tone finish. Designed with a hinged body that opens to reveal a small interior compartment, it features finely textured scales, sculptural fins, and striking red glass eyes. The curved tail acts as a built-in support, allowing the piece to stand beautifully whether open or closed.
Originally designed as an ashtray, today it works beautifully as a trinket box, jewellery holder, or sculptural decorative object. A distinctive Mid-Century piece with playful character and an unusual collectible quality.
