Vintage 1960s–1970s scallop shell box crafted from reflective silver-tone metal, with a sculptural ribbed form and softly domed profile. It features a decorative edge, hinged lid, and a removable pressed glass insert shaped to follow the shell.
Originally designed as a butter or caviar dish, it can be beautifully repurposed as a jewelry or keepsake box. A refined Mid-Century decorative object with elegant coastal references.
